When do you have class and how do I get there?
Classes are on Mondays at 7:15PM and Thursday mornings at 9:30AM. Students can attend one or both classes. Plenty of parking is available. Need directions?
What levels do you teach?
We teach Basic, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced classes. We normally have at least one class at each level on both Monday evenings and Thursday mornings.
How much does it cost?
It costs $15 dollars for a semester. If there is financial hardship, please let us know. There are a select number of scholarships available each semester to help with the fee.
What is the current schedule?
Spring session has ended. Fall classes will begin in September or October.
Plenty of parking is available. Find directions.
What should I expect?
You can expect a friendly welcome and encouraging environment. We always begin class with an ice breaker activity and offer a snack midway through our instruction period. There are multiple nations represented among our students, so expect to meet a few new people!
Who are the instructors?
Our instructors are trained volunteers who offer quality English language instruction to our students. They are always excited to see new students in the program!
Do I have to be a Christian to attend?
No, you do not have to be a Christian to attend. We do not require our students to believe what we believe, just have the desire to learn English! We will read a Bible verse as a group during the English language instruction period, however the rest of the instruction is focused on English language instruction. You are welcome to ask any questions you would like about what we believe or teach.
Do you know of any other ESOL classes in the Virginia/DC Area?
You can find other available classes through at www.cbesol.org.
