We are really glad you are considering visiting us! If this is your first visit to RPC, here is some information that you might find helpful.
What times are your worship services?
We have one worship service Sunday morning at 10:30. Sunday school starts at 8:59.
Where is RPC located?
Reston Presbyterian Church is located at the corner of Sunset Hills and Hunter Mill Roads. Need directions?
Should I attend Sunday School?
Attending Sunday School is entirely up to you. We believe Sunday School to be one opportunity among many for spiritual growth. We provide Sunday School for any and all who would like to take advantage of this opportunity. Feel free to come and give it a try. We also strongly encourage folks to suggest topics and ideas for future Sunday School studies, so if you have something in mind, please feel free to share it with us.
Is there a program for children during the Worship Service?
Yes, most Sundays children K-5 are given the option to go to God’s Kidz after the offering. On Communion Sundays, typically the first Sunday of the month, children have a special Children’s Chat after singing and then remain for the rest of the service.
How should I dress?
Don’t worry about what you wear — dress casually or dress up — whatever makes you comfortable. Most people dress business casual.
Are there any concerns about parking?
No, there’s plenty of free parking, with visitor and handicap spaces in front of the church building.
What will I experience?
The people of RPC are warm and friendly. You will know a few names before you even sit down. The praise team starts the worship service with a number of contemporary songs, and usually at least one traditional hymn. Learn more about our worship here.
