Adult Sunday School classes meet at 9:00am next door to RPC at Fairfax Christian School, on Hunter Mill Road. Three classes are meeting this term: - Why Politics Needs Religion: A Course in Worldviews
More than ever, the role of religion in American politics is a dominant concern as the country prepares to select a new president in 2008. To better understand the theological and spiritual issues at stake, this course will study the book Why Politics Needs Religion by Brendan Sweetman. Sweetman approaches this question from the perspective of analyzing worldviews and argues that the religious worldview is best able to present a rational and coherent paradigm for the study and practice of politics. The class is taught by Tom Stocking.
The Book of John Michael Hunter will lead a Bible Study on John using the inductive approach. Join Michael and dig deeply into the Book of John.
